AHKAH holiday additions bring platinum and coloured gems to Chandelier Sway
Announced on 21 October for Japan from 28 October, the holiday lineup adds platinum Grace and Twist, the new Solo and ruby and green-garnet Petit necklaces.
Grace: the rhythm of suspended diamonds
AHKAH makes chandelier-like movement central to Chandelier Sway, linking baguette-cut and round brilliant-cut diamonds. The additions include platinum Grace earrings; the Grace choker shown alongside them is 18K white gold, so the group is not entirely platinum. JEWEL DAILY observes a continuous fringe along the choker, while the earrings gather varying lengths into a downward point.
How the shapes sit on the body
Both official portrait and landscape wearing images are retained here. They show the earrings spreading along the ear before falling below it, and the choker tracing a fine curve above the collarbone. In our reading, the contrast between a horizontal line close to the body and vertical suspension defines the collection. Photographs cannot establish weight or comfort in wear.
Twist and Grace rings: two structures
The new platinum Twist and Grace rings place emphasis differently. The upper Twist offsets a diamond-set line against a polished arc and suspends three stones; the lower Grace builds a denser fringe from round and rectangular diamonds. These are observations from the official photograph; the release does not provide engineering details for joints or moving parts.
Solo: a single suspended focus
The new Solo necklace comes in platinum or 18K yellow gold, both with diamonds. A curved bar of round diamonds carries a single rectangular diamond, with the connecting ring visible. JEWEL DAILY sees this as reducing the collection's layered fringe to one suspended focal point; the metal colour changes the contrast between chain and stones.
Petit: colour within a shared outline
Petit adds ruby and green-garnet versions, shown with the platinum diamond version. Three hanging positions are arranged around a longer central line. Coloured stones change the visual blocks while the round-diamond bar preserves the upper outline. The official materials list identifies the green stones as green garnet, not emerald.
Holiday styling and the Japan schedule
A further holiday photograph shows stepped diamond-set rings without individual model names or confirmation that each is new; we discuss their layered curves without treating them all as new releases.
