MIKIMOTO PASSIONOIR pairs golden pearls with blackened chains

Eight pieces launched in Japan on October 15 combine golden South Sea pearls with black-rhodium-finished silver. Complete product and Yuta Jinguji campaign photographs reveal the links, pearl spacing and layered styling.
Golden pearls in a black palette
MIKIMOTO announced the new PASSIONOIR pieces on October 14, 2026, with a Japanese launch on October 15. Its release presents four necklaces, three bracelets and an ear cuff, all in golden South Sea pearls and silver. The brand calls its black rhodium finish Japanned Noir: the golden colour belongs to the pearls, not to gold chains.
Four necklaces: single, triple and spaced pearls
The two single-pearl necklaces were announced at JPY 374,000 and JPY 605,000 including Japanese tax. In the photographs, finer links let the central pearl punctuate the chain, while thicker links strengthen its outline. This is a visual observation; the release supplies neither weights nor chain lengths, so neither can be inferred from the images.

The JPY 1,155,000 necklace places three pearls at the centre and sides. The JPY 990,000 long necklace extends a finer line with pearls spaced along it. Both use gold-and-black contrast, but the former concentrates attention at the neckline while the latter establishes a more open rhythm.
Bracelet links and an open ear cuff
The single-pearl bracelets at JPY 242,000 and JPY 396,000 continue the contrast in link thickness. The original photographs reveal the clasp, connecting rings and M charm. Rounded pearls contrast with the edges of the links; visible construction is not a test of wear resistance or comfort.

The JPY 594,000 bracelet combines several golden pearls with two rows of chain. The JPY 104,500 ear cuff reduces the idea to one pearl and a black open ring. Repetition gives the bracelet volume; the cuff keeps a concise meeting of gold and black. Suitability for an individual ear still requires a fitting.
Proportion in the wearing photographs
Three official photographs of Yuta Jinguji show the jewellery with a black top, white collar and black knitwear, and leather styling. They demonstrate long-and-short necklace layering and bracelet combinations. Other accessories also appear, so the entire wardrobe should not be described as these eight new pieces. A separate campaign film uses a seemingly weightless setting.

For JEWEL DAILY, the variation lies chiefly in link volume and pearl spacing rather than additional colours. Product views explain construction; wearing views explain the relationship to a collar. Prices above are the Japanese tax-inclusive prices stated in the release; local official information governs other markets and availability.
