Pandora opens a Tokyo showroom as it expands its Japanese business

The Shibuya office and showroom opened in October 2026. Pandora describes it as a base for media and buyer presentations and product loans, alongside growth in its Japanese customer business.

A showroom alongside the Shibuya office

In an October 14 announcement, Pandora Jewelry Japan said it had moved its office to the eighth floor of PMO Shibuya II, 3-1-1 Shibuya, Tokyo, and added a showroom in October 2026. The source gives a month, not an exact opening day. It describes exhibitions for media and buyers and product loans to stylists and editors; it does not announce public visiting hours.

The entrance, interior and display photographs show how the showroom brings charms, bracelets, rings and necklaces into one space. Its role is to let professional visitors examine surfaces, combinations and styling possibilities directly.

From charm combinations to personalisation

Pandora says sales to Japanese domestic customers account for a larger share than inbound tourism sales, but the release provides no percentage or comparable revenue series. It also cites the October 8 opening of its LaLaport Shonan Hiratsuka store as another customer touchpoint.

The accompanying product and workshop images explain the proposition: charms can be combined, selected pieces can be engraved, and hand finishing remains part of production. These are brand reference photographs supplied with the announcement, not photographs of manufacturing inside the Tokyo showroom or proof of a newly launched collection.

What the sustainability claims cover

The company says its jewellery uses recycled silver and gold and is made with electricity from renewable energy. It also cites its second-place Corporate Knights ranking and a goal to halve value-chain greenhouse-gas emissions by 2030. These are company statements with different scopes; recycled metals do not mean every material in a finished piece is recycled.

JEWEL DAILY’s reading

For JEWEL DAILY, the useful signal is the investment in a place where the product can be handled and shown to the people who communicate it. The photographs support that purpose. The announcement alone does not establish the showroom’s effect on sales, and it should not be presented as a public museum or visitor attraction.
