Design begins in the workshop

TSUZURE — Loose End draws on Kyoto’s Nishijin tsume-gaki hon-tsuzure weaving. The brand describes weavers using nails filed into serrated edges to gather weft threads color by color. Warp, tangled threads, spools, tools and the light across cloth inspire the collection rather than copied traditional motifs. Japanese craftspeople in Tokyo and Kofu make the jewelry to order.

From threads to rings

In the product photographs, a broad ring gains rhythm from repeated upright units, while a narrower band has a twisting outline. Silver-colored rings use parallel strands, openings and offsets to create layers. These are JEWEL DAILY’s visual observations. The release does not specify each piece’s material, so color alone cannot establish 18K gold or platinum.

The wearing photograph shows how several rings change scale across the fingers. Paris display cases bring necklaces, bracelets, rings and earrings into one field of view. Look at line density, changing edges and the spaces between pieces. Complete frames are retained rather than substituting crops for whole products.

Showing the craft behind the objects

Tokyo will show the entire collection alongside woven works, photographs of craftspeople and workshop films. The Paris pop-up also used sound composed from workshop noises and a brand book explaining the making process. That does not establish that every aspect of Tokyo’s staging will be identical; these photographs show the Paris presentation.

The JEWEL DAILY view

JEWEL DAILY suggests comparing the jewelry with the process that inspired it: how weaving’s tension, spacing and light reappear in repeated units or curved lines. Visitors may handle and try on the pieces. The release does not specify public booking arrangements, admission prices or prices for every piece; check the brand website linked in the original before visiting.
