Chopard Happy Diamonds Heritage frames moving diamonds in a cushion case
ChopardThe new 34 mm watch revisits an early design through black onyx, yellow gold and mobile diamond elements.

The works and their design
Introduced in September 2026, Happy Diamonds Heritage reference 202299-0001 reinterprets a 1970s design in a 34 mm, 18K yellow-gold cushion case. Chopard specifies black onyx, 21 mobile diamond elements and hand-wound calibre 10.01-C with approximately 45 hours of power reserve. The house links the idea to sunlight on a waterfall; the diamond elements move between two sapphire crystals.
JEWEL DAILY perspective
JEWEL DAILY sees the dark background as a way to make changing positions legible. The front shows the composition when diamonds gather together, the side explains the case layers, and the back separates the movement from the jewellery display. Wearing gestures move the diamonds; the calibre does not animate them. Understanding these two structures says more about the design than simply describing the stones as dancing.
