CHANEL Signes & Symboles: four chapters of high jewellery
Camellias, lions, stars and suns shape CHANEL’s 2026 collection. Product photographs and September editorial portraits connect motifs, colour and ways of wearing.
Four chapters, a shared vocabulary
CHANEL’s 2026 Signes & Symboles high jewellery collection rearranges the house’s camellia, lion, star and sun across 85 creations. July coverage identifies four chapters: Les Imprimés, Le Lion Emblématique, Les Bijoux Talismans and Les Symboles. Harper’s Bazaar Arabia’s September photographs show selected pieces in relation to the body. A symbol can anchor a necklace or become a small unit in a repeated pattern.
Les Imprimés: patterns become jewellery
Les Imprimés draws on the repetition of patterns in fabric. The Imprimé Lion necklace centres on a 20.66-carat octagonal sapphire, with diamond motifs spreading around the neck. An Imprimé ring frames a 10.44-carat emerald with layered contours. The Imprimé Plastron necklace and bracelet combine yellow gold, diamonds and yellow sapphires. The lion as a structural centre
Le Lion Emblématique places the lion at the centre of the construction. The Lion Topaze necklace links a golden collar to a lion’s head and a warm-coloured centre stone; texture continues along both sides. Lion Rubis uses a finer chain around its lion ornament and ruby pendant. The wearing portrait pairing it with a Symbole Camélia Rose ring shows how a substantial ring balances a lighter necklace.
The geometry of talismans
Les Bijoux Talismans turns protective emblems into geometric units. The yellow-gold Talisman Graphique bracelet sets stars within shield-like shapes, joined by diamond accents. A necklace and ring in white metal and onyx emphasise lines through black-and-white contrasts. Close views of earrings and rings reveal layers less apparent in portraits: these designs develop the symbols into structures.
Colour and transformable designs
Les Symboles emphasises coloured stones and sculptural shapes. Symbole Saphir combines sapphires, turquoise and dark accents. Transformable Symbole Étoile necklaces and earrings bring together tanzanite beads, imperial topaz, spessartite garnets and carnelian; a rear-facing portrait shows the long chain and star pendant. Symbole Ombré contrasts orange beads with turquoise, while the Symbole Camélia Rose brooch places stars within layered petals.
