ajour and BIZOUX plan a shared jewellery store in Fukuoka

A December opening in Tenjin

ajour and Japanese gemstone jeweller BIZOUX are planning a joint store in unit 303 on the third floor of ONE FUKUOKA BUILDING. in Fukuoka. The opening is scheduled for 1 December. Hours will be 11:00–20:00 on weekdays and 10:00–20:00 on weekends and public holidays.

A seat beside the display cases

In the renderings, a seat beside a wood-toned counter gives visitors a place to discuss a jewel they already own. Around the dark green wall, the BIZOUX display cases open onto the shop floor.

A side view shows how the consultation area and the open display share an approach. Someone bringing an old ring could compare a new design and discuss resetting their stone in the same visit.

A different way to wear a stone

A pendant and a ring illustrate two ways to remodel a piece. The pendant draws attention to the end of the chain. A hand holding a flower shows the ring face at the scale of a finger.

Two further examples explore arrangements of stones. Three pearls run diagonally across one ring. In the group of coloured rings, the stones have different outlines, making it easier to compare how a surrounding border changes each design.

At the repair bench

In a close-up, tweezers hold a stone above an empty ring mount. Beside it, a finished ring and pendant offer a comparison between a raised setting on the hand and one suspended from a chain.
