ヴァン クリーフ＆アーペルのMidnightが店頭へ：茶色のエナメルに二つの時間
4月発表のMidnight Heure d’ici & Heure d’ailleursは10月12日からブティックに登場。38mmのピンクゴールドにダブルジャンピングアワーとレトログラード分表示を備える。
4月の発表から10月の店頭展開へ
ヴァン クリーフ＆アーペルはMidnight Heure d’ici & Heure d’ailleursを2026年10月12日からブティックで紹介すると案内する。4月14日のWatches and Wonders公式発表で既に披露されており、10月は初公開ではなく店頭展開の時期だ。品番VCARPEVI00は38mmの18Kピンクゴールドケース、茶色のエナメル文字盤、黒のアリゲーターストラップを組み合わせる。
二つの窓と共通の分表示
上の窓は現在地、下の窓は第二時間帯の時を表示し、二つの数字が同時にジャンプする。分はレトログラード針で示す。ブランドはこれを旅の詩的な表現と位置付ける。二つの場所が一つの分の進行を共有し、自動巻きムーブメントは65時間のパワーリザーブを備える。窓と弧状の目盛りが表示を分担する。
エナメルと天体の裏蓋
公式説明では、piquéモチーフから広がるギヨシェ調のエナメルが、光によって暖色にも寒色にも見える。ピンクゴールドの表示とケースが暗い地に映える。裏蓋写真には太陽、月、星の彫刻が見える。JEWEL DAILYは、表の幾何学的な質感と裏の天体装飾が旅と時間のテーマを表裏に展開すると見る。
着用感とシリーズの関係
製品ページは二つの着用写真、針位置の異なる正面、斜め方向と裏面を掲載し、38mm径、ラグ、リューズの比率を確認できる。同じテーマページのPierre Arpels Heure d’Ici & Heure d’Ailleursはシリーズの参照モデルとして紹介する。白い文字盤とホワイトゴールドの作品は今回のMidnight新作とは区別する。

The Heure d’Ici & Heure d’Ailleurs watches combine two time zones. The Heure d’ici—the baseline hour presented in the upper window—and the Heure d’ailleurs, the hour displayed in the second time zone window located on the bottom of the dial, advance simultaneously thanks to two sector gears that synchronize the two discs and the retrograde minute hand. These creations present an understated yet poetic interpretation of travel.
The design of the 38-mm Midnight case accentuates the harmonious balance between the polished, satiny rose gold of the case and hour markings, and the subtle tones of the embossed enamel making up the dial, its brown nuances taking on warm or cold accents depending on the light. The dial presents a guilloché aesthetic radiating out from a piqué motif recalling the Van Cleef & Arpels hallmark. The Maison invites you to discover the Midnight Heure d'ici & Heure d'ailleurs watch in boutiques from October 12, 2026.
