Our reading: a retailer should explain which questions a report answers—identity, treatment, origin or another characteristic. Laboratory findings and a seller’s pricing judgement are separate matters.
Check the report number and its correspondence with the submitted stone before comparing terminology. Where conclusions differ, ask the issuing laboratory about scope and method rather than selecting whichever wording supports the higher selling price.
